Thinking Anglicans has a good illustration of this today. +Rowan is inviting ECUSA's PB to the Primates' Meeting. Seems logical, right? She is, after all, a duly elected primate. No, certain primates seem to feel that the audacious gesture of including every primate in the Primates' Meeting is "authoritarian." I'll say it again: sigh.
